TRIBUTE TO FRANK REYNOLDS

December 28, 2006 - NorWesters Track and Field Club is sad to report that Frank Reynolds passed away on December 28, 2006 following a two year long courageous struggle with cancer. During his life, Frank had a profound effect on track and field at the national, provincial, and local levels. Frank coached our senior distance group for many years providing both athletic and life skills guidance to countless young athletes. He will be sorely missed by NorWesters athletes, parents, alumni, as well as by our Board of Directors. Although his passing is a tragic loss, Frank left NorWesters in an enviable position with his mentoring of younger coaches. The NorWesters distance program is now in the capable hands of Ashley Weber, Cindy O'Crane, and Darcie Montgomery. They will carry on Frank's tradition of athletic and life skills inspiration.
